USINDO PROGRAMS

The United States-Indonesia Society organizes a variety of programs in an effort to keep our audiences better informed of current events as well as analyses of events taking place in Indonesia.

Open Forum Series

The Society regularly presents speaker and discussion programs on the full range of issues of interest in U.S.-Indonesian relations, including politics, economics, legal systems, anti-corruption efforts, and regional and national elections.  More information and program schedules.

Congressional Staff Fact-Finding Visits

USINDO conducts visits to Indonesia for U.S. Congressional staff members to meet a broad cross section of leaders and experience Indonesia's rich diversity. More than 75 staff members have participated in this program since 1995.

In addition, USINDO hosts meetings and briefings for visiting delegations of Indonesian parliamentarians. More information and visit schedules.

Conferences

Half day or full day meetings examine major trends in the United States and in Indonesia, and the individuals and groups key to political and economic developments. These meetings bring Indonesian and American and other scholars together to discuss issues.  The Society is privileged to work jointly with other NGOs, both Indonesian and American, to carry out these conferences. More information and conference schedules.

Speakers' Bureau

USINDO provides speakers on Indonesia to educational and public affairs organizations throughout the United States, and speakers and programs on the United States for Indonesian audiences.  More information on USINDO Speakers' Bureau.
