USINDO Holds Highly Successful DC Gala Dinner Featuring Coordinating Minister M. Hatta Rajasa

USINDO’s 2012 Gala Dinner on September 20 welcomed Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs M. Hatta Rajasa before a capacity audience at Washington’s Fairmont Hotel. Minister Hatta’s policy address covered the sustained growth of the Indonesian economy, the progress of economic reform and economic policy management, and the significance of Indonesia’s expansion into an economy with global consequence. Preceding the dinner, Minister Hatta answered questions from top U.S. companies who are investors or do business in Indonesia. Special guest Kurt Campbell, U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs, spoke on Indonesia’s positive role in regional foreign policy, the progress of U.S.-Indonesia relations under the Comprehensive Partnership, and the role of USINDO in building people-to-people ties.
