Requirements:  Students who currently are enrolled in S-1 degree programs only,  and have completed their first semester and up to their firth semester of undergraduate study at an Indonesian university. Applicants should demonstrate leadership potential through academic work,  community involvement, and extracurricular activities. Minimum institutional TOEFL score of 500-score or IELTS 5.0 less than two years old. Preference will be given to those who have had little or NO experience in the U.S. or outside of their home countries.

Description: The Global UGRAD Program provides scholarships for one semester or one academic year of U.S. Study in a NON-DEGREE Program. The goals of the program are to provide a diverse group of emerging student leaders, from non-elite and underrepresented groups in Indonesia and East Asia.

Fulbright Community College Initiative Program

Requirements: Preference given to applicants with a high school diploma; D1/D2/D3 graduates may apply. Applicants with an S1 degree may apply only if they will study in a field different from the field of their degree and have relevant work experience in the field for which they are applying. Minimum institutional TOEFL score of 500.

Description: 1-year long program to study at a community college in the US and earn a vocational certificate in a specific field

Global UGRAD (Global Undergraduate Exchange Program)

Requirements: Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in a university in Indonesia between semester 2 to 5. Students of 6th semester and above are not eligible. Minimum institutional TOEFL score of 500.

Description: 1-semester or one academic year long program of full time undergraduate coursework and 10 hours community service per semester, and an internship to all academic year participants

Study America Undergraduate Program

Requirements: Must be a high school senior or within the first two years of study at a university. This program is not a scholarship, so applicants must be able to prove availability of funds for university study in the US. Please see website for details.

Description: Please note that this program helps to offset administrative costs and seek scholarships and grants. IIE acts as an intermediary to coordinate applications to universities for admission and financial aid.
