Asia-Pacific Leadership Program (APLP)

Requirements: Participants must have a 4-year bachelor’s degree from a recognized institute of higher learning OR a 2- or 3- year bachelor’s degree with some master’s coursework completed. Participants must apply to the University of Hawaii at Manoa in conjunction with this program, and are expected to cover transportation costs and cost of living

Description: A 9-month long program that includes 5 months of intensive study at University of Hawaii at Manoa and 4 months of an additional project (in Hawaii or elsewhere).

Fulbright-Freeport Master’s Degree and PhD Program

World Bank Graduate Scholarships Program

Requirements: Must be a developing country national, not be a dual citizen of any developed country, hold a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent university degree) earned before 2013, be under 45 years old on the Application Deadline date, and have at least 3 years of recent development-related experience since earning a Bachelor’s degree. Applicants must also commit to returning home to their country on graduation. Those receiving a scholarship are barred from working at the World Bank Group for three years following graduation from the preferred master’s program.
