Thomas Qian is a recent graduate from American University in Washington, D.C. He holds a degree in International Relations with a concentration in the field of Development. Thomas formerly lived in Daegu, South Korea for 3 years, where he continued his education and taught English as a tutor. For the past two years, Thomas has worked in the U.S. Department of Transportation dealing with the detection and prevention of fraudulent activities that undermine the nation’s infrastructure. Upon completion of the summer language study program, Thomas will continue to pursue his educational and career interests in sustainable development programs in Indonesia.
