Chiara Logli is a Ph.D. student in Educational Foundations and an East-West Center Affiliate at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Her research interests include international education, cultural studies, gender equity, and peace education. Chiara received a Master’s degree in international relations at the University of Bologna (Italy), a certificate in cross-cultural leadership at the Institute for Intercultural Communication (USA), and a Rotary World Peace Fellowship at Chulalongkorn University (Thailand). For over ten years, she has worked for the University of California Berkeley, the University of California Santa Barbara, and various non-profit organizations committed to cross-cultural understanding. She has collaborated with several international institutions, including UNICEF and UNDP, focusing on girls’ education, women’s empowerment, and community capacity building.
