I am excited to be learning a new language in an unfamiliar environment. I am currently a graduate student at the Fletcher School at Tufts University studying the Asia Pacific region and Foreign Policy Analysis. Before graduate school, I studied Chinese at the Mandarin Training Center at National Taiwan Normal University. In Taiwan, I worked part time as a copy editor at the largest circulated English-language newspaper in Taiwan, The China Post, and taught English through a private tutoring setting and in various cram schools to people of all ages and levels. Prior to leaving the U.S., I was a stock analyst at a small hedge fund and a financial analyst at a boutique investment bank. I’ve chosen to leave the financial path and be a part of a bigger international world. I dream of becoming a diplomat, representing my country, and exchanging what’s best about me, my background, and the U.S. with the rest of the world.
