Rudi Winandoko is a Foreign Service Officer in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. He was assigned to a diplomatic internship in the Embassy of the Republic Indonesia in Amman, where he saw the pervasive problems facing Indonesian migrant workers in the Middle East. Upon returning to Jakarta, Rudi worked with the Directorate General of ASEAN Cooperation during Indonesia’s Chairmanship of ASEAN in 2011. Rudi graduated from the University of Indonesia with a B.A. in Economics. During college, Rudi was actively involved in non-academic and organizational activities, and has published articles with several newspapers and publications. He is primarily interested in International Economics, with a focus on Capital Market and Investment. He holds an Indonesian Investment Manager Representative license. Rudi will pursue a Master of International Affairs at the Columbia University, concentrating in International Finance and Economic Policy, in the fall of 2013.
