Ibrahim Caraka Debe, a Foreign Service Officer in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, was born and raised in a diplomatic family and reached one the highest positions in his diplomatic class. Inspired by Dr. N. Hassan Wirajuda, former Indonesian Foreign Minister, he is currently pursuing his degree in the two-year Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy (MALD) program at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy of Tufts University. Given the interdisciplinary approach to the curriculum at the Fletcher School and his profound interest in regional integration, he will concentrate in the field of International Organizations. He received his B.A. in Political Sciences in International Department of Gadjah Mada University in 2007.
