Currently the Senior Governance Advisor to the Governor of Aceh Province, Mr. Hollenbeck was also the Center for Local Government Innovation’s Business Development Director, and is currently a Director of FIGI (Foundation for Indonesian Governance Innovations). Mr. Hollenbeck has more than 30 years of international development experience with 24 in Indonesia and over five years in the Philippines. His accomplishments include the establishment and operation of two sustainable Indonesian foundations supporting local governments with projects in governance capacity building, health, education, agriculture and infrastructure. Mr. Hollenbeck also worked with PT. Freeport in Papua for six years, spent over nine years with the United Nations in Sulawesi and Papua, three years with USAID in NTB and a year in the Moluccas with a U.S.-based NGO. He holds a B.S. in Resources Development from Michigan State University and a M.Sc. in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of Hawaii/East West Center.
